Waning of the Evenstar

My entry to =lusete's Medieval Fantasy Contest [link]

The theme of this piece is mortality. It depicts Arwen after (most of) the Elves have left Middle Earth. Their departure marks the Dominion of Men and decay falls over the Elven kingdoms of old. Due to her decision to remain with Aragorn, the Evenstar also begins to feel the onset of mortality. And a bittersweet ending comes to her tale.
